Description

The main goal of the program is to give teenagers a chance to learn about and experience the culture, lifestyle, history, and ecosystems of Ecuador. Teens ages 14-18 are grouped in classes together. 20 hrs/wk of Spanish class in small groups. Private room and board with an Ecuadorian family. Day trips to surrounding nature reserves, mountains, and cultural areas of interest are included. Adult supervision is provided by the host family and the school staff in the form of curfew.
