Learning German abroad in Hamburg, Germany is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. Germany is a historical yet modern country, split into sharply defined regions. Each region maintains its distinctive character with its own dialect, traditional dress and foods. Germany's many modern cities stem from the time when it consisted of countless small states. North Germany has the delightful old seafaring ports, east is the beautiful cultural centers and south is the alluring Black Forest and those boisterous Bavarian beer halls. Along the Rhine and Moselle Rivers are picturesque castles and steep, terraced vineyards. From Frankfurt to Bremen runs a trail of villages that helped inspire the Grimm Brother's fairy tales.
Learn German Language in Germany:
Three rivers, two lakes, and a skyline of towering church spires surrounded by lush green parks provide visitors with a pleasant atmosphere to explore the second largest city in Germany. Located in the Northern part of Germany, Hamburg's Harbor is home to the second largest port in Europe, making Hamburg an important economic center for Germany and for the rest of Europe. The famous bahn in the St. Pauli district is home to a raucous, often hedonistic, alternative crowd, and played host for the Beatles' first concerts as band in 1960. This city is connected by over 2,300 bridges; more than Amsterdam and Venice combined. With all it has to offer, Hamburg is still perhaps most famously recognized for the beef patties that German immigrants introduced in New York City in the late 1800's.

Our mantra is "Every Language, Every Culture, Everywhere." AmeriSpan Study Abroad has over 15 years experience and over 30,000 past participants. Our staff has three passions: language, culture, and travel. Individually and as a group, we have accumulated experiences and knowledge related to these passions. AmeriSpan's staff has traveled to more than 65 countries, every continent except Antarctica, speak 10 languages, and we are happy to share this enormous amount of relevant knowledge with you. Every staff member has studied and/or lived abroad for extended periods of time. We are neither a language school nor a travel agent, we're a hybrid of the two: a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer, and our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of these programs. Our pledge to our participants is to make going abroad 'worry-free'. There is no risk in choosing an AmeriSpan program because you'll get the best program, best price and can cancel for any reason and get a full refund on every dollar we have received for your program.
