  • Description

Learning French abroad in Montreal, Canada is one of many language immersion programs offered by AmeriSpan. Canada, bounded by the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, Alaska, Greenland, and the 'Lower 48' of the USA, possesses a diverse landscape, ranging from the Arctic tundra of the north to the great wheatlands of the central area. Westward are the Rocky Mountains, and in the southeast the Great Lakes, the St Lawrence River and Niagara Falls. The country is divided into ten provinces and three territories with two official languages, English and French. Canada's French and British influences along with the mixture of many migrant traditions from all over the world makes Canada a must see multi-cultural society.

School Facilities: The school is located in the heart of city, only two blocks from a major subway line and minutes from great shopping, restaurants and nightlife. It occupies the top floor of a modern five-story building and its facilities include a central administration office, twenty-six classrooms, and a social room with free computer and internet access. Capacity is 350 students/day.

Participants: The majority are from Europe, Japan, Mexico and North America and are university students.

Our mantra is "Every Language, Every Culture, Everywhere." AmeriSpan Study Abroad has over 15 years experience and over 30,000 past participants. Our staff has three passions: language, culture, and travel. Individually and as a group, we have accumulated experiences and knowledge related to these passions. AmeriSpan's staff has traveled to more than 65 countries, every continent except Antarctica, speak 10 languages, and we are happy to share this enormous amount of relevant knowledge with you. Every staff member has studied and/or lived abroad for extended periods of time. We are neither a language school nor a travel agent, we're a hybrid of the two: a language travel organization. AmeriSpan has evaluated hundreds of schools, host families and destinations to determine which programs to offer, and our independence allows us to give you unbiased evaluations of these programs. Our pledge to our participants is to make going abroad 'worry-free'. There is no risk in choosing an AmeriSpan program because you'll get the best program, best price and can cancel for any reason and get a full refund on every dollar we have received for your program.
