Spend your summer studies in Granada, Spain!
Boasting only the most beautiful and exquisite buildings in the medieval era, Granada is one must-see city. Students will deeply appreciate the plains, mountains, coastline, and picturesque topography of the place. Hence, a trip in this breathtaking city will be significantly memorable.
AIFS students take courses at the University of Granada in business Spanish, Spanish culture and civilization, Spanish language, art, geography, history, literature and sociology. Students can choose between the 4-week and 6-week programs.
AIFS program fees include the basics and the extras: tuition, housing, meals, London visit, excursions and cultural activities, airfare if selected, visit to Seville and Cordoba, and more.
Spend 4 or 6 weeks in the lively city of Granada, perched between the dazzling white peaks of the Sierra Nevada and the glistening blue Mediterranean of the Costa del Sol. During your stay you will see some of the most beautiful and intricate buildings of the medieval world and soak in traditional Spanish culture with the white-washed villages, flamenco music, bullfights and festivals.
Earn up to 6 credits in the first four weeks, taking an Intensive Spanish Language Course or Spanish Language and Culture Course and additional content courses taught in Spanish. Students on the 6-week program can earn up to 3.5 additional credits taking Spanish language and conversation.
Enjoy activities in and around Granada including visits to Alhambra and the Generalife Palace. Explore other parts of Spain on a 2-day excursion to Seville and Cordoba.
Travel on the Optional AIFS Flight Package and you will begin your trip with a 3-day excursion to London, England en route to campus.

Fee includes:
- Tuition up to 6 semester credits for the 4-week program, up to 9.5 semester credits for the 6-week program (subject to course selection)
- Housing in a Spanish homestay or student residence
- Meals - 3 meals a day in the homestay or three meals Monday through Saturday at the student residence
- Cultural activities such as: a welcome party, guided tours of Alhambra and Albaicin, Cathedral and Royal Chapel of Granada and the home of poet Garcia Lorca, a farewell party and a Flamenco show
- Excursions: Seville and Cordoba (2 days); Costa del Sol (day trip) for students on the 6-week program only

Optional Components:
- AIFS Flight Package includes visit to London Round trip flights U.S.-London, London - Malaga, Malaga - U.S. and round trip transfers between the airport and campus overseas. The flight package also includes a 3-day stopover in London on the way to campus.
