Studying in France? Head for Cannes! Cannes is a sunny, former fishing village perched on the Mediterranean shoreline. The small city is renowned by the world for the artistic community including international festivals that combines the aura of the rustic town and metropolis with the feel of summer at seaside resorts.
At College International de Cannes, AIFS students take classes taught in both French and English in art history, drama, French cinema, literature, political science, and sociology, plus French language.
Internship opportunities:
The College can arrange placements in a wide range of public organizations and private companies depending on your academic major, interests and suitability. French proficiency at the 300 level is required. Typical internships include a minimum eight hours of work a week with local government and housing projects. Internships may also be with local television, youth clubs, hospitals or the Cannes festival hall.
Study abroad in this sunny international resort on the Mediterranean shoreline. A former fishing village, Cannes boasts some of the most beautiful scenery in France. It is a unique balance of a cosmopolitan city with the relaxed attitude of a seaside resort.
Immerse yourself in the language and culture, strolling along the Promenade de la Croisette, stopping at an open-air café and shopping along the palm-lined boulevards.
Earn up to 18 credits in a curriculum composed of French language plus a variety of courses offered in English or French.
Discover more of France with included excursions to Paris and Provence, then take in the local arts by seeing the works of Picasso, Matisse and Chagall on local museum visits or attending local performances of theater, music or modern dance. In the spring semester, enjoy the world-famous film festival with opportunities to attend screenings and volunteer with film companies. Travel on the Optional AIFS Flight Package and begin your trip with a 3-day excursion to London, England en route to Cannes.

Fee includes:
- Tuition up to 18 semester credits (subject to course selection)
- Housing in double or triple rooms in College residence halls
- Meals in the College cafeteria. Breakfast and lunch included. Dinner is optional for a supplementary fee

Optional Components:
- AIFS Flight Package includes visit to London Round trip flights U.S. - London, London - Nice, Nice - U.S. and round trip transfers between the airport and campus overseas. The flight package also includes a 3-day stopover in London on the way to campus.
