  • Description

    Learn Spanish with us in Ecuador! We offer Spanish courses in Quito (our main office), the Ecuadorian Jungle, the Coast and the Enchanted Galapagos Islands.

    All of our Spanish programs have been carefully structured to develop effective communication skills in a variety of everyday situations and grammar constructions. Our Spanish Programs prepare students for everyday use. Students will develop their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills as well as their grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and idiomatical expressions.

    Amazonas has professional and very effective programs in order to our students get the best Spanish learning, showing them our beautiful culture and style of life at the same time!

    With a limited or no speaking knowledge, students would begin normally at Basic level and then, by progressively building upon their proficiency and fluency, students would move through the various levels until they finish with their last Spanish studies (Advanced or Superior levels).

    It is ideal for students interested in studying Spanish for 1, 3, 4, 8, 16, 24 or more weeks of practical, motivating and useful Spanish studies. Students can take from 4 up to 7 hours of Spanish lessons every day, Monday to Friday.

    At the end of our Study Programs, students will be able to:
    * Arguing (to give views, reviews, etc.).
    * Defend their ideas
    * Communicate in any situation
    * Have good listening and reading comprehension

    Homestays With Selected Ecuadorian Families:

    Our homestays provide you with reinforcement of what you have learned during the day, in a family-like atmosphere. Living with an Ecuadorian family is perhaps one of the nicest ways to learn Spanish and to get to know the culture of Ecuador.

    Our families are carefully screened to ensure a comfortable environment in which to live while attending our school. All families reside in short walking distance or bus ride away, in quiet and safe residential sectors of the city. The families, like you, look forward to meeting someone from a different culture.

    Try it and you will find it one of the most rewarding experiences! You get a very comfortable and private bedroom, three meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner), laundry service, and the opportunity to learn about our customs and improve your Spanish. Any particular needs, be it dietary, rooming arrangements (for couples or singles), private bathroom, or non-smoking environment, we have a suitable family for you!

    We offer excellent opportunities for Volunteering and Internships in Ecuador.

    In Quito and its surroundings, you can join us in the following fields:
    * Children and Youth Organizations
    * Teaching opportunities
    * Training in Travel Agencies
    * Volunteer in the jungle
    * Medical Field
    * Elderly, among others

    You can also make your volunteer work in very well organized reserves in the jungle, the highlands, the coast and the Galapagos Islands.
