Hmmm, how to sum Amauta up?? An adventure Marvellous building Awesome neighbourhood, tranquil and leafy green Unique Top teachers A school you can feel at home at! Learning Spanish at AMAUTA was one of the best decisions I made while I was in Buenos Aires. I was planning on just picking up the language when I arrived, but that turned out to be a lot harder than I had expected. Classes were definitely a necessity, and AMAUTA was a perfect place to take them at. They were fun, a mix of conversation, grammar and games! The teachers weren't just teachers, they were friends too, and that warmth from them and the staff really made a difference to me, and the other students. The volunteer program was also a fantastic experience. One that made my life in Buenos Aires more realistic and fulfilling. I had the opportunity to work with a group of beautiful children in a local orphanage, and learnt a lot from being with them for those 4 weeks. Highly recommend AMAUTA!!!

My time in Cusco was really fun! At first I was a bit scared because I didn't know the language of any people but everyone is really nice in Cusco and especially at AMAUTA. The lessons are good you can have private or group lessons, depends on your level. I really had a wonder full time in Cusco, thanks to AMAUTA and the volunteer work, it helps you to meet new people and practice your Spanish. I can recommend it to anyone who is thinking to do this, to go to Cusco, take lessons at AMAUTA, dance Salsa, eat cuy etc. You will have a wonderful time here that you will never forget!

I was told by local Peruvians that AMAUTA is the best Spanish school in cusco, and from my experience, the high quality education I have received is superior to any other Spanish courses I have taken. Moreover, there are so many options to cater to any preference. You can take small group or private lessons, do all kinds of volunteer work, and stay at the school or with a host family. I personally have thoroughly enjoyed living with a very hospitable and all around lovely family. The staff at AMAUTA is equally friendly and willing to cater to every need. They are helping me get course credit from my university for the classes I am taking here. It is also so convenient to have Dos Manos travel agency in the same building. They have helped me organize un unforgettable trips to places like Machu Picchu and the Amazon rainforest. I recommend AMAUTA to anyone who really wants to learn Spanish and experience life in Peru.

Bonjour! Hi! Buenos dias! As a French and English speaking professor, 61 years old, it might be quite difficult to learn and speak a third language. Not with Amauta Spanish School! The key of their success lies in the multi functional learning strategy that I could call 'LA IMERCION TOTAL!' with 'la familia peruana' 24 hours a day, within small classes of 4 to 6 students, we are involved in a cultural, political, historical, grammatical and dynamic environment. The very competent professors know quite well how to manage not only young students, but also oldies like me with discussions, exercises, questions and answers. That's the way to learn a new language, to cope with the locals and to make friends! All over the world! Thanks, Amauta!

First of all AMAUTA is said to be the best Spanish School in Cusco and that's why I've chosen to study here. After two months studying here I'm able to communicate due to the fact that the teachers are highly qualified and the method used by the school is focused on speaking. The atmosphere at the school is very interesting because you can meet people from all over the world and this place is not only full of young people , the elderly people are here as well and it makes the experience even more amazing. Another thing that makes AMAUTA different from the other schools is that it has another building in Sacred Valley, which is very close to the mountains and to the main points in the famous Sacred Valley of the Inkas.

AMAUTA has been a great place to learn Spanish. I am living with a host family which helps reinforce what I learn in class. I really enjoy my group classes because I have friends from all over the world, and we help each other practice Spanish. All of the teachers are patient and knowledgeable. The school is in a perfect location to the Plaza de Armas, and conveniently has a travel agency attached so you can take great weekend trips. The school offers many services to students, most of which are free like cooking classes, salsa classes and culture classes.

You can find the school AMAUTA next to the Plaza de Armas. The school has a nice view of Cusco. I live with a nice family with two lovely kids which is a nice experience for me. Also it is very helpful to learn Spanish and to get to know the Cultura Cusquena. In the afternoon there are many activities you can do, such as know the music instruments from Peru, learn and dance Salsa, learn to cook typical Peruvian dishes and learn about the culture of the Incas&. For me, Cusco is an amazing city with a long history of the Incas and the people are very friendly. In total: Unbelievable, very interesting and gorgeous.
