Amauta is known for its interactive, communicative and personal teaching methods. Standard group or individual programs include four hours of instruction per day from Monday to Friday. The complementary cultural courses (freely included in all programs) are an excellent complement of the course since they are a great way of improving your Spanish in activities all directed towards learning in a dynamic environment where you will learn about Latin American culture.

Amauta schools are located in lovely school buildings with terrace/ garden, spacious classrooms, study room, leisure room.

Choose from our endless options such as Spanish group program, individual classes, medical Spanish, Spanish for 55plus, Spanish and excursions, Spanish and Inca Trail, Spanish and Machu Picchu, Spanish and volunteer.

The Amauta Volunteer Program provides the unique opportunity to live and work in Peru or Argentina. Students will experience first-hand the rich cultural diversity while cultivating a superior level of Spanish proficiency. Through the Volunteer Program, Amauta and the volunteers are able to make contributions to Peruvian society and to help bridge the gap between foreign visitors and native people. Participants may choose both, the field and preferred location, of their volunteer placement. Possible fields of interest include social work, education, tourism, cultural work and catering. A complete list of the projects can be sent upon request. Amauta organises an introductory meeting with general information about Peruvian history and culture, working in Peru as a foreigner, cultural differences and social hierarchy of Peruvian society. During a student's course of study, he/she will have the opportunity to personally discuss the appropriate placement in terms of goals, desired experiences etc. with the Volunteer Coordinator. During the placements, the weekly volunteer meetings enable volunteers to talk in general about their experiences and raise any concerns.
