  • Description

"When I decided to have an internship at the clinic in Peru, I did it to learn about the medical field. What I got out of the experience were life-long friends, colleagues and role models. I realized that I'd found a profession I was truly passionate about and i didn't want to leave that environment. I learned a lot not only from the doctors, but from the patients that came every day to seek our help. I learned a lot about myself as an individual and I'm lucky to have met such great people. The most amazing thing I experienced was assisting in three live births and the funny thing is that they were all girls! It was definitely an eye-opening experience and something almost unreal. I had a great time getting to know those people and they really made an impact on my life".
