    Students will immerse themselves in the communications and media scene in London during this 5-week summer program. Designed to take advantage of opportunities for students to experience some of the unique communication headquarters in London, excursions include visits to BBC Television and Radio, the ITN News Headquarters, and attendance at major political and art events held throughout the summer. Courses are designed with special emphasis on journalistic skill building as well as theoretical analytical components. Students live in an International Residence Hall near the AHA London Centre.

    Each course offers an extensive array of excursions. Typical destinations and activities include:

    * The BBC Television studios
    * Back-stage tours of The National Theatre or Royal Opera House
    * The Wallace Collection Cheltenham International Music Festival
    * Galleries like the Tate Modern or the Victoria and Albert Museum and galleries in the East End
    * The Houses of Parliament 4 Millbank, where the main political broadcast studios are based
    * Press Office of a Parliamentary Committee of Inquiry
    * City Hall, home of the London Mayor and Greater London Authority
    * Associated Press Television News in Camden
