    African-Roots is offering incredible opportunities for volunteers who are interested in making contribution and impact on the ground on projects in the following areas:
    * Environmental Protection and Preservation [Tree planting]
    * Health Care and Nursing opportunities
    * Sport Coaching and Working with Kids
    * Construction and repair work on Rural School

  • Highlights

    In your spare time you may explore your local area as you please, or let our staff arrange a tour around the village or to a particular site, taking in the many spectacular attractions Cameroon has to offer. Attractions include spectacular waterfalls and numerous sacred lakes and cultural sites. A range of adventure and cultural activities like visits to remote villages, wildlife safaris are available.

    Our main mission is to empower the poor get out of poverty by themselves with an emphasis on women and youths. Our program provide a structure by which international volunteers / experts provide their skills and experience to local projects that empower the poor and protect the environement. We place a special emphasis on helping the people do it themselves as that is the only suitable position from which true sustainable development can take place when people can do it themselves. So we help our people do it themselves.
