You are invited to join in the work at the centre with the beautiful cheetahs, and be involved in saving this incredible species from extinction. The volunteer programme is designed to introduce you to the fascinating world of a host of African wildlife, as well as to the incredible cheetah, and to work closely with those running the project in all aspects of reserve management. We are also able to offer you the chance to work on the reintroduction project where you will be actively assisting in reintroducing cheetahs back into their natural habitat. You will be playing a vital role in raising and training the cheetahs (training begins from the age of three months) to prepare them to hunt for themselves, so that the projects' goal of contributing to increasing the numbers of free-roaming cheetahs into the wild can be realized.
* Working and interacting with the resident cheetahs every day
* Helping to raise young cheetah cubs (should there be any at the project whist you are there)
* Making a difference in the lives of many different species of wild animals through the maintenance and improvement of the reserve
* Exploring and discovering the delights of the African bush
* Making friends for life, both with members of the local community and your fellow volunteers
* Being based just 1.5 hours from Johannesburg you will be perfectly positioned to explore some of the other exciting tourist attractions that South Africa has to offer.
* Included in your fee is a wildlife safari experience at the world famous Kruger National Park.

I had a terrific time! It was so nice to meet awesome, interesting people! The cheetahs, there are just no words to describe how awesome they are! Everything was perfect:-)
MoreBest time that I can ever imagine! I liked everything but especially time spent with the cheetah in the afternoon.
MoreIt's a wonderful experience, it really makes you appreciate all that you have, it shows you a different perspective on life. I absolutely LOVED this trip, it's one of the BEST things I've ever done...
MoreThe project is an amazing scheme that has been great to be a part of & thus for me the whole thing has been hugely enjoyable but of course time with the cheetahs and cubs was best.
