CWC Children's Village a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) and non profit making, was founded by Rev. Hansen Mettle and his wife Mrs. Juliana Mettle in 1999. It mobilizes financial and material support to meet the needs of the under privileged and orphaned children in Africa.

The organisation feeds, clothes, provides shelter and edcucate abandoned children. The children are housed with a "House Mother" who is a trained Social Welfare Officer. The organisation also provides material support to rural women to help them set up small businesses.

A kitchen assistant is required to help the House Mothers prepare well balanced meals for the orphans and teach them the importance of a healthy, balanced diet.

We recruit volunteers and interns on behalf of organisations in need in Ghana. We have been working with organisations in Ghana for a long time and are well established and recognised as one of the largest recruiters of volunteers in Ghana. Our continued presence in Ghana allows us to ensure the needs of the volunteer and organisation are met. We hope our volunteers will become responsible global citizens as a result of their experience with us, promoting the need for social change and raising awareness in their home communities on the issues they encountered. Africa has a lot to offer but also needs support, the support it rightfully deserves.
