After a two-week induction course covering safety, security, teaching techniques and intense Spanish language lessons, volunteers will spend 4 months living and working within the local communities of the Valle de Bravo area of rural Mexico. A wonderfully unique experience for cultural exchange - learning about the traditions, language, food and history of the local people. Spend approximately 15-20 lessons per week teaching English to local children. You will also have the chance to integrate into the community by offering English lessons to the villagers.
The project is finished off with four weeks of independent travel and the chance to explore more of Mexico or further into Latin America - all covered by 24 hour in-country support from our local representative.
A unique opportunity to see an amazing community and to completely immerse into their way of life, away from the Western world. A truly life-changing experience.
Volunteers must be able to speak English, be enthusiastic, adaptable, committed and resilient (and have a sense of humor!).
