Description

After a 5 day induction course covering safety, security, teaching techniques and some Thai language lessons, volunteers will spend 10 weeks living and working within the local communities of the Tha Ton area of Northern Thailand. A wonderfully unique experience for cultural exchange - learning about the traditions, language, food and history of the local people. Spend approximately 15-20 lessons per week teaching English to local children. There will opportunities for extra-curricular activities - sports, music, drama, art, etc too.

The project is finished off with four weeks of independent travel and the chance to explore more of Thailand, covered by our 24 hour in-country back up support network. You might also like to venture to Cambodia, Laos or even as far as Vietnam.
