  • Description

Projects start with a 4 day induction course covering safety, security, teaching techniques and Swahili language lessons, followed by 3 months living and working in the rural villages of the Machakos District just a couple of hours from Naiorbi. A wonderfully unique experience for cultural exchange - learning about the traditions, language, history of the local people. Spend approximately 20 lessons per week teaching English, Maths, Science & Sports to local children or alternatively coach sports (soccer, rugby, hockey, netball). There will also be a chance to introduce extra curricular activities such as drama, art, music, different sports etc.

At the end of your project will have the opportunity to spend an additional four weeks exploring East Africa with 24 hour in-country support from our local representative.
