You will experience the authentic African life from our base camp in the Kumbali village situated at the Nature's Gift Farm's 650 acres in the outskirts of the city Lilongwe. There are many surrounding communities near Kumbali, and this is where our projects with orphanages, schools and development of community takes place.
A short 2 hour ride from the vibrant city of Lilongwe with its colorful markets, through the open African landscape will take you to the shores of Lake Malawi, a huge expanse of shimmering fresh water which Dr. David Livingstone described as "Lake of Stars." Our charming camp on the lake shore allows you to experience the tremendous joy of sleeping under the open sky and enjoy a drink from our bar, sat around a huge baobab tree. Back in Lilongwe the voluntary work starts - a rewarding experience that continues for 2 weeks. Then, you travel south to the huge coffee and tea plantations at Thiolo and climb Mount Mulanje, the third highest mountain of Africa.
A trip to Africa would not be complete without a safari and an opportunity to experience the true African wilderness. The 4-day trip into Zambia's South Luangwa National Park with an opportunity to see lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, leopards, wild dogs and countless other African wildlife can very easily become the highlight of your African adventure.
