  • Description

Interns working in this position will have to teach children and teenagers in the different areas of the Arts: music, visual arts, acting, dancing, etc. This internship will be held in a non-profit organization that has been working for 7 years, dedicated to help children in social risk. It is located in a poor sector in the city of Vina del Mar.

Programs start the first Monday of each month, all year long (Remember: in Chile, summer time is December - March!). Work assignments are 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. Housing is your own room in a shared apartment with other Adelante candidates all apartments are in easy distance of the beach -- or with a Chilean family, you choose. 3 weeks of intensive Spanish language classes, plus excursions are included when you first arrive. This is a fairly customized program and process, with anywhere from 3 to 10 candidates starting programs each month. Participation in this program will massively upgrade your Resume and provide the ability to become fluent in Spanish. All candidates have a Chilean Supervisor at their work assignments, plus an English-speaking Intern Advisor living in Vina del Mar.
