Term
Throughout the year

Dates
First Monday of every Month

  • Description

Do you know anyone who has been to Chile? Probably not, which is one of the reasons why we wanted to open up Adelante CHILE. Another reason, a big one: it is fairly economical to live there. Yet another reason: Chile, and specifically the sister cities of Vina del Mar and Valparaiso are beautiful and SAFE. The most important reason: serious, business related internships are available here. This is a serious country, that takes pride in its work ethic.

Programs start the first Monday of each month, all year long (Remember: in Chile, summer time is December - March!). Work assignments are 4 hours per day, 5 days per week. Housing is your own room in a shared apartment with other Adelante candidates all apartments are in easy distance of the beach or with a Chilean family, you choose. 3 weeks of intensive Spanish language classes, plus excursions are included when you first arrive. This is a fairly customized program and process, with anywhere from 3 to 10 candidates starting programs each month. Participation in this program will massively upgrade your Resume and provide the ability to become fluent in Spanish. All candidates have a Chilean Supervisor at their work assignments, plus an English-speaking Intern Advisor living in Vina del Mar.

Internships are available in a variety of sectors, including International Business, Human Resources, Teaching English, Social Work, Information Technology, Education, Graphic Design, Tourism, Marketing, Psychology, Public Relations and more. The companies are large, public entities (like the Chilean Government Customs Office or a state-run, accredited University) or small to medium sized Chilean-owned corporations.
