  • Description

    LeadEarth is a leadership program for young professionals who want to gain experience in social action, community empowerment, and environmental and international development. Volunteers have the opportunity to immerse themselves in Israeli and Indian life.

    In the first part of the program, participants live study and volunteer in Kibbutz Ein Zivan. Receive professional training in the fields of sustainable development and project management. In the second part of the program, volunteers move to the Tamil Nadu region of India where they live in a community of international volunteers and work with grassroots NGOs, including, Center for Culture and Development (CCD) and Sadhana Forest. These organization guide the volunteers in initiating, developing and operating a community project of their own focused on spreading environmental awareness through informal education.

    LeadEarth alumni receive ongoing support to continue their involvement in social and environmental action in India and/or their home community.
