  • Action pour les Droits Humains et L'Amitie (ADHA)'s Mission Statement

The mission of ADHA is to promote the essential human rights of asylum seekers, refugees and the youth of Africa. The opinions of the youth of Africa should be a driving force behind decision making processes; however their voices remain unheard on many significant African issues. It is necessary to provide a legitimate platform for the African youth to advocate for their rights as the overwhelming majority of the population. ADHA's mission is to provide this legal platform to facilitate the effective implementation of the Pan-African Youth Charter. Through various mediums, ADHA seeks to educate and empower refugees and asylum seekers to seek legal equality and to advocate for their basic human rights in their country of residence. Methods such as increased access to administrative justice, by way of legal advice on matters relating to asylum determination, re-settlement, family reunification, and other issues pertaining to the enjoyment of fundamental rights provide refugees and asylum seekers with a lawful case for the pursuit of human security.
