Beyond Teaching: Work for a Publicly-traded Language Learning and Content Corporation
In June of 2008, Chung Dahm Learning went public on the KOSDAQ (KDQ:096240) as one of the few publicly-traded English language Learning companies in Korea. Poised for continued rapid growth we are aggressively seeking out experienced, qualified, and motivated instructors for our learning centers: the backbone of the Chung Dahm Learning Enterprise.
Below is an excerpt from a recent equity research report from Samsung Securities:
Chungdahm Learning is our second top pick because its role as provider of premium English education should keep it relatively insulated from consumption contractions caused by the slowing economy, and help it benefit from growth in Korea's private English education market. The firm's expansion into new content-related businesses is particularly promising, given its current level of competitiveness in terms of content.
Chung Dahm Learning is one of the few institutes in Korea where professional development is viewed as a core competency. Instructors have moved into other business areas of the Company including HR, R&D, New Media, Instructor Training, and E-learning. Opportunities also exist in our new facilities in the Philippines and Vancouver, Canada. Many current full-time, corporate employees are former Chung Dahm instructors.
Chung Dahm Learning is Korea's foremost leader in English education and content development. With over 100 locations throughout Korea, 30,000 students, 1,000 trained and certified instructors, and a comprehensive pre-developed curriculum, Chung Dahm Learning has proven itself to be more than "just a teaching job". Our high salaries are a reflection of the premium value we place with our instructors.
