    Spend the Summer in Paris with ACCENT and University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. Explore Parisian monuments, churches, museums, districts and galleries, as Paris becomes an extension of your classroom while you attend French language classes at the University of Paris - Sorbonne as well as a French Civilization class taught by the program faculty director at on-site locations throughout Paris. Participants on the Summer in Paris program live in double rooms at the Cite Universitaire international residence campus in Paris and have the opportunity to attend optional excursions organized by the ACCENT Paris Center staff. The ACCENT Paris Center also provides support and guidance to students studying abroad.

  • Highlights

    Cultural learning is an integral part of the program. Guided visits of many museums and historical sites such as, but not limited to, Versailles, Vincennes, Saint Denis, Père Lachaise, the Marais, the Cluny Museum, the Rodin Museum, Invalides, the Louvre, and the Centre Pompidou are included in the program, and students participate in cultural activities that include a Seine river tour and two performances of ballet, opera or classical music. Also available on the program are two optional one-day excursions to Chartres/Giverny ($90) and Fontainebleau/Vaux-le-Vicomte aux Chandelles ($90), as well as an optional three-day, two-night excursion to Normandy and Brittany, including entry costs, accommodations, guides and transportation ($360). Excursions are chosen based on the academic curriculum and are subject to change.
