Immerse yourself in a life-enriching experience Spend the Summer in London with ACCENT and the Coast Community College District (Golden West College). Explore London as it becomes an extension of your classroom while you study History 135/British History (UC & CSU credits) with Professor Moore at the ACCENT Center. Participants live in student apartments in central London. The ACCENT London Center also provides support and guidance to students studying abroad.
Cultural learning is an integral part of the Summer in London program. Participants attend on-site lectures at museums and historical sites within and outside London, such as the Churchill War Bunker. Two one-day field trips to Hampton Court and Brighton, as well as a half-day field trip to Greenwich are included in the program. Field trips are chosen based on the academic curriculum and are subject to change.
