Spend the Semester in Rome & Florence with City College of San Francisco and ACCENT. Rome and Florence become an extension of your classroom as you explore Italian cathedrals, monuments, churches, museums and galleries. You will attend Italian Grammar and Conversation classes at the Scuola Leonardo da Vinci, as well as Art History and History classes with local faculty.
Participants on the Semester in Rome & Florence program live in apartments in a student residence located in the Trastevere district of Rome and in student apartments located throughout the city of Florence. Participants will have the opportunity to attend cultural events and optional excursions as well as social activities organized by the ACCENT Center staff. The ACCENT Centers also provide support and guidance to students on each of its programs.
Cultural learning is an integral part of the Semester in Rome & Florence program. Participants attend on-site lectures at museums and historical sites within each of the cities. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend an optional excursion outside of Florence to Volterra/Montepulciano. More information on optional excursions will be available at the overseas orientation. Excursions are chosen based on the academic curriculum and are subject to change.
