Immerse yourself in experiential learning Spend the Semester in Paris with ACCENT and Sierra College. Explore Parisian monuments, churches, museums and galleries, as Paris becomes an extension of your classroom. While in Paris you will attend Art, English, French language and Communications courses taught by visiting Sierra College and local faculty. Participants on the Semester in Paris program live in double occupancy rooms in a student residence or apartment or in a single room in the student residence or in a homestay (with supplement) and have the opportunity to attend cultural events and optional social activities organized by the ACCENT Paris Center staff. The ACCENT Paris Center also provides support and guidance to students studying abroad.
Once you have completed and turned in the initial application, you will receive more detailed application and enrollment forms as well as a student handbook by email from ACCENT.
Cultural learning is an integral part of the Semester in Paris program. Participants attend on-site lectures at museums and historical sites. In addition, participants have the opportunity to attend an optional day excursion outside of Paris to a location such as Fontainebleau/Vaux-le-Vicomte, as well as an optional three-day/two-night excursion to Normandy/Brittany.
