Restaurant Internship is intended for those who want to work in Italian restaurants, pizza restaurants, gelato shops, agritourism etc. to gain experience in Italian cuisine, to become expert, by learning how to prepare dish, how to run a restaurant, how to treat customers, handle stock, managing of restaurant, etc.

Qualifications

Working experience in restaurants or completion of Accademia Riaci's Professional Culinary Art course (1 or 2 months).

Salary/Pay

Basically, students are not entitled to a salary, but the companies can provide, as they see proper, any kind of compensation, such as lunch coupons, accommodation, etc. So, you may be able to ask for some consideration after a couple of months. Many students receive some kind of economical assistance or other, so to enjoy living in Italy longer and comfortably.
