Heal Others. Discover yourself.
AOMA students are learning to practice a medicine that heals body, mind, and spirit. From pulse diagnosis for psycho-emotional health to herbal formulation for cancer, AOMA's comprehensive curriculum ensures students develop into skilled, experienced, and compassionate practitioners of Chinese medicine. AOMA's world-renowned faculty and supportive staff are committed to guiding students through this transformational journey.
AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine currently offers a master's-level graduate program in acupuncture and Oriental medicine, preparing its students for careers as skilled, professional practitioners. Since its founding in 1993, AOMA has grown rapidly in size and reputation, drawing students from around the nation and faculty from around the world. AOMA also conducts more than 20,000 patient visits annually in its student and professional clinics. AOMA collaborates with Western healthcare institutions including the Seton Family of Hospitals, and gives back to the community through partnerships with nonprofit organizations and by providing free and reduced price treatments to people who cannot afford them.
AOMA is one of the few professional programs in the nation that includes traditional Asian mind-body practices such as tai chi and qigong as an integral part of the curriculum, and is one of very few acupuncture schools to begin clinical education for students in the first term.
