Bachelor of Interactive Media - Bachelor of Interactive Media provides students with the knowledge, skills and abilities to respond to the ongoing changes that this industry will continue to experience. This course features
two main areas of specialisation: digital film and interactivity (animation & games): Interactivity is an area of specialisation featuring subjects where students learn skills to produce interactive content and also gain the background knowledge to undertsand how and why media can be extended to include the viewer.
Media Studies is an area of specialisation which includes both industry related subjects learning how to create media with the latest software and also a range of subjects that help prepare students for further education such as a Masters
Degree.
Cert II in IT - The Certificate II in Information Technology provides foundation general computing and employment skills that enable participation in an information technology environment in any industry. Small to medium enterprises (SMEs) will find the contents of this qualification useful at an ICT user level. In its own right this qualification could equip an individual to undertake roles such as office assistant or to work in records management at a junior level; however its usefulness is most likely to be found in supplementing functions in roles prevalent in other industries.
Diploma of IT (Multimedia) - AIT's unique multimedia program offers students comprehensive skills in design, animation, web, audio/video, IT and games design. AIT's courses are designed to produce digital media professionals that are industry ready and equipped for creative IT and multimedia careers.
These combined skills are fundamental for developing complex multimedia productions, like computer games. At AIT, we are not only training multimedia specialists but also gaming geniuses. For all students interested in games, we recommend students continue with AIT's Advanced Diploma of Multimedia, which focuses heavily on Games Development.
Diploma of IT (Software Development) - AIT's unique Software Development program not only offers students a comprehensive course in programming, software engineering, web development and database design; but additional skills in multimedia. Advance Diploma of Screen & Media (Game Production) - AIT's unique Games Development program offers students comprehensive skills in advanced 3d modeling and animation, motion graphics, games design and production. Vitools and motion capture are widely used throughout this entire program, to offer students advanced knowledge in creating interactive 3d games and animations based on real-life movement. AIT's advanced diploma is a sophisticated course for students passionate about games. AIT highly recommends that students complete AIT's Diploma of IT (Multimedia) or equivalent before enrolling in this program. If students possess advanced animation, programming and multimedia skills, AIT will take this into consideration for direct enrolment.

Organic Motion - AIT was the first educational institution in Australia to
offer courses in motion capture technology. The recently commissioned motion capture system is designed and manufactured by Organic Motion of New York, and is the first of its kind implemented in Australia.
Motion capture is an innovative real-time solution combining hardware and software for motion tracking and real-time animation. This equipment enables animators to easily transform the motion of a person into a digital
signal where the animator could effortlessly control the virtual character.
