  • Highlights

"The most beautiful town in the world." Benjamin Disraeli
The capital of Scotland, Edinburgh is the seventh largest city in the United Kingdom, but the second most visited tourist destination. Geographically located along the Firth of Forth, near the North Sea, the city sits in the southeast of the country.

Situated in the middle of the city is the UNESCO World Heritage Site, which includes the medieval Old Town and the Georgian New Town. The famous Edinburgh Castle sits atop a hill, looking down on the city.

Edinburgh is famous for the numerous festivals held throughout the year. The most famous of these is the Fringe, which is the largest performing arts festival in the world. It is at the Fringe that our students work in a variety of roles.
