Academia Latinoamericana de Español offers a great number of excellent program options: Learn Spanish in Cusco, the ancient capital of the Inca Empire, just a stone's throw from Machu Picchu World Heritage Site. We offer first-rate Spanish language programs for international students who wish to quickly develop a working proficiency in Spanish. Choose from group, individual and super intensive programs to cultural activity classes and courses with university credits, all taught by native speakers of Spanish.

Courses start every Monday all year round and last from one week up to several months. Unlike at other schools at Academia Latinoamericana you are not required any Spanish knowledge in order to sign up for our programs, and you may study for as long as you wish or as time permits you.

Besides regular classes students participate in cultural seminars, field trips, dance and cooking classes. Methodology

The focus of Academia Latinoamericana Equatorialis University is on communication and our methodology involves a natural approach to the Spanish language. Classes are dedicated to oral and written comprehension and expression as well as vocabulary and grammar studies. We guarantee that there are never more than 5 students in a group, often even less. On the first day each student passes a written and oral placement test. There are nine levels of proficiency from beginner to superior and throughout the course students are tested on a weekly basis, so everyone continues gradually according to their own pace and personal effort.

Academia Latinoamericana - Equatorialis University is a privately owned non-profit university, under the Alpha Foundation for the Promotion of Education, Culture and Knowledge of Quito, Ecuador. We are registered and recognized by the Ecuadorian government. In the United States it would be similar to a 501.c3 designation. This allows corporations, individuals and other organizations to donate to us, knowing that we will provide education benefits and instruction in return. As a non-profit, we are able to reinvest income to future development and benefit of all our Ecuadorian and international students.
