Abroad China's Special Summer Internship Program offers the unique opportunity to gain work experience in one of China's tertiary cities such as Tianjin, Suzhou, Chongqing, Dalian, Chengdu, Guangzhou, Wuxi, Nanjing or Shenzhen.
The Special Program is an 8 week internship program in one of China's tertiary cities. The program is open during the summer months (May-August); however there are no set dates. Accommodations are included (60 days) as well as travel assistance.

* Applicant must have obtained or currently be pursuing an undergraduate degree (BA/BS or equivalent) at an accredited institution.
* Applicant must be a native English speaker or illustrate fluency.
* Applicant must be very motivated and independent.
* In favor of people who speak fluent Chinese and English (Students will be on his/her own in cities other than Shanghai and Beijing).
* Limited positions may be available for native English speakers without Chinese Language abilities.

Accommodation costs are included in the program fee. Students will be housed in a dormitory style hotel. Students may have a roommate during the duration of the program.
Program participants will be placed in a domestic Chinese company or a foreign company in one of three fields chosen. Stipends will be 50 RMB per day worked or more depending on the intern's qualifications, experience and company. The stipend is intended to cover some of the daily expenses incurred by the intern.
