Abbey View is a modern detached house of traditional Scottish design overlooking the Sound of Iona and only five minutes walk from the ferries to Iona, Staffa and the Treshnish Isles.

Guests are assured of the warmest welcomes and hospitality.

Our attractive modern bedrooms with Laura Ashley soft furnishings look out over the garden and then across the Sound of Iona. We provide highest quality fair trade products and locally made shortbread on our tea/coffee trays and our bathrooms offer top of the range Scottish toiletries. We have a twin bedded room with adjacent private bathroom and a double with en-suite facilities. There is also an extra twin bedded room available for larger groups.

Breakfast here includes fruit juices, cereals, porridge, yoghurts, fresh fruit, a choice of cooked dishes (including of course a traditional British Breakfast), home made bread and home made marmalade. A perfect start for a long day in the open air.

In the evening guests can find a good pub only two minutes walk away which offers excellent bar and restaurant meals and also a short drive or walk a newly opened Sea Food restaurant together with a pub/restaurant in nearby Bunessan.

The house is situated on the Knockvologan road near to the Columba Visitor Centre.

In the evening guests can find a good pub only two minutes walk away which offers excellent bar and restaurant meals and also a short drive or walk a newly opened Sea Food restaurant together with a pub/restaurant in nearby Bunessan.

Mull is accessed by ferry via two routes: Oban (to Craignure) and Lochaline (to Fishnish).

Once on Mull, take the A849 south to Fionnphort (37 miles). Buses meet many (but not all) ferries at Craignure for the journey to Fionnphort.
