  • Description

Our summer program in beautiful Verona, Italy, is a pre-college program for students completing grades 10-12, with a focus on the performing arts: theater, opera and playwriting, as well as Italian language and culture.

Students will learn how to live with a group of peers, in preparation for a successful college experience. They will share house responsibilities, shop for groceries in local markets, and cook together using traditional Italian recipes.

The home of Romeo and Juliet and the world famous Roman Arena, Verona is a romantic and trendy college town. It is the second largest city after Venice in the Veneto region and is a prosperous and vibrant center. Verona is a delight for enthusiasts of theater, opera and playwriting due to its historical relationship with the performing arts. Its picturesque pedestrian streets and colorful piazzas make it the perfect background for a study abroad experience.

The Verona program is designed specifically for students passionate about the performing arts with a desire to experience a hands-on approach to Italian theater and production.
