Scuola Leonardo da Vinci (Siena) is located in the heart of Siena, right around the corner from San Domenico and just a few blocks from the famous Piazza del Campo. The school is situated in an ideal location on a street called Via del Paradiso. From this central point, virtually every site of interest within Siena is only a few minutes away by foot. Scuola Leonardo da Vinci opened its first school in the 1980's, and today has a reputation as one of the finest organizations in Italy. This reputation has helped to bring students from all over the world to study Italian at the various Scuola Leonardo da Vinci schools. As with many of our other schools, Scuola Leonardo da Vinci not only provides general Italian language study, but can also provide specialized programs for business people, lawyers, medical personal, and others. The school also can offer classes dealing with art, culture, history, folklore, politics, plus more.
Siena is without a doubt, one of Italy's most enchanting cities. It is a beautiful town that today still has the feel of a medieval city. An ideal place for someone who prefers a smaller town. The town has a wealth of old architecture, museums, and a wonderful Gothic church. From Siena most parts of Tuscany are just short drives away. Nearby the city are the famous medieval towns of San Gimagnano and Volterra. It is worth stopping by to visit the Duomo, considered by most to be one of the greatest Italian Gothic churches. Siena is situated along major rail lines which makes travel to other parts of Italy very easy. Both Rome and Florence are within two hours of Siena. The city offers visitors easy access to things such as Mediterranean beaches or world-class skiing facilities in the Alps.
