  • Description

Only 15 minutes from the airport and from the Grand Place our Bed and Breakfast welcomes you, be it for business or leisure. Our cozy guest rooms, the "Chocolate" room and the "Double Cream" room, give each access to large terraces, and most of all we will be pleased to welcome you and give you a great taste of Belgium.

    Feel Home

Finally sit down on the deckchair and relax with a good book, taste a special Belgian beer fresh from the fridge while reading your latest emails, bite a typical biscuit with your tea watching your favorite program, wake up at the smell of the home made bread, put on a fresh ironed shirt and grab a last Nespresso before heading out for the day...Relax, enjoy, we take care of the rest.
    Our House

Our house was built in 1913 from the plans of the architect Wiegerink with a massive blue stone facade, high ceilings and larges terraces. We have kept the lovely original atmosphere of the house and have added the best of modern comforts.

We are located in "Helmet" which is just like a village in the city: lively by day and quiet at night. You will find all you need right in the neighborhood: restaurants, supermarkets, dry cleaners, banks, chocolate shops, chemists, public transport, taxis, etc.

  • Location

Plane: the international airport of Brussels is 15 minutes away. Train or taxi connection to the center of Brussels.

*Attention, we have two airports with a similar name:

    - "Brussels-Zaventem" (10km away) Info

    - "Brussels South Charleroi" (60km away) mostly RyanAir flights. Details such as shuttle service, etc

Train: There are three major stations in Brussels: South, Central, North. Fromahtese three stations you can pick-up a train towards the Schaerbeek Station which is about 300 meters away from our B&B. The ride will last about 10 minutes only. If you already have a train ticket to Brussels, this would usually cover up for the trip towards any other station in Brussels.

Once in Schaerbeek station, right in front of the station, take the largest avenue with trees going up the slope (Avenue Huart Hamoir)On top of the 'hill' is a church, walk up until you come at the door of the church. There take right (90° angle, well almost 110°) and stay on that board walk for 200m until you reach our home. Our street starts at the round about.

*Attention, we have two names for the same station:

Midi Station (or "Gare du Midi") = Brussels-South (or "Zuid Station")

*Good to know: trains have first and second class, make sure you're sitting in the right one. If you are not sure about the validity of your ticket, walk towards the controller as soon as he enters the wagon and explain the problem, this will usually avoid further trouble/fines.

Car: The ring road will bring you to one of the following exits: from East choose exit "Meiser", else choose exit "Laeken".

Tram: Tram lines 55, 33 and 23 are just minutes away. Line 33 will drive you downtown but only after 20h00, line 23 will bring you to the Heysel (Brussels Exhibition Centre, Kinepolis, MiniEurope, Atomium).

Taxi: You will find taxi stations throughout the city, other wise you may call 'Les Taxis Verts' +32(0)2494949 who have always proved to be honest drivers. From center count €13, from Brussels Zaventem Airport some €25, but from Charleroi Airport close to €100!
