Description

The Nest is situated in one of Christchurch’s most loved hill suburbs, nestled in a garden of native bush with views from the living areas of our Estuary, Sea and Mountains (snow covered in the winter) beyond.

Our bed and breakfast is a unique self-contained home, yet with all the service and friendly, personal hospitality of any homestay.

We live right next door and are there for you at all times. Breakfast, cooked and served at the “Nest”, can last for hours, but can also be finished in 15 minutes if that is what you want.

Your enjoyment and happy memories of your holiday are important to us. If you have any special requests please just ask.

Location

Ask one of the friendly locals for directions to Ferry Road, then please follow Ferry Road east towards Sumner (not Lyttelton). You will soon get to the suburbs of Woolston. Once through Woolston you will get to a roundabout quickly, please go straight through this (not towards Lyttelton). Soon you will get to a set of traffic lights. Please drive straight ahead using the left lane. You will very quickly come to a 4-lane bridge and have the Estuary on your left. Follow the road as it veers left along the water.

Quite quickly you will come to McCormacks Bay Road on your right, please turn into this road. Turn right into Soleares Avenue, and continue up the hill until you get to Toledo Place on your right. Please come to number 15 (proceed past the letterboxes and park opposite No 15) and we will take you over to the Nest at number 24, and make you feel really welcome.
