Volunteer Abroad Rwanda: Teaching/Education Volunteers Needed!

Program Duration

1-2 Weeks, 2-4 Weeks, 5-8 Weeks

Mid-Jan to Mid-April; Early-May to Mid-July; Mid-August to End of October

Qualifications

- 18 years old and older
- English and French speakers welcome
- People with technical training needed: mechanic, tailoring, welding, construction
- Teaching experience not required for classroom placements
- Pro-active, mature, adventurous spirit

820 for one week / 990 for 2 weeks / 1215 for 3 or 4 weeks

Program Fees Include:

Non profit organization, programs fees are tax deductible for US tax payers:

- Pre-Trip support with information, orientation material and support with booking flights and insurance.
- Airport pick up at Kigali Airport
- Transportation to Rwamagana (1hr drive)
- Orientation, project briefing and program introduction
- On-site ABV Director and support staff available 24/7
- Placement in rural community school
- Accommodations: Host family or living on-site at the school
- 3 local meals a day
- Departure transfer to Kigali airport
