In addition to new search functions, we give the users new ways to focus their searches on the results page. We added clickable country maps to narrow the results by specific regions and a city search to pin-point the desired location. The listings are displayed in a new tab format allowing the user to see listings from all of the GoAbroad.com categories within the same targeted location from one convenient search. The newly designed website has a new featured listing at the top of the country results pages. The feature listing is on top of all the other listings and includes a photo and link to the partner's full listing and directly to the partner's web site. We've provided great results to our partners's with the search page features and we expect the results features to deliver quality targeted inquiries. meters of mud and rocks swallowed the whole Barangay Guinsaugon in Southern
Leyte, Philippines with over 1,000 people missing including a schoolhouse
filled with teachers and children. International and local rescue operations
have been progressing for more than a week with a new focus shifting to
support for the surviving victims. The mudslide has left scores of injured
and displaced hundreds of families.
The
GoAbroad.com staff responded by volunteering at the site of the mudslide
where our team distributed much needed relief items including medicines
and used clothing and provided food for the rescuers while doing our best
to provide psychological support to those people affected by the disaster.
