Stake your claim to tomorrow's opportunities and join World Endeavors this summer in China! World Endeavors has partnered with Yantai University in China to create an intensive language seminar that is the perfect opportunity to learn a great deal of Chinese in a short amount of time. The program also includes essential features such as small class sizes, individualized attention, and a safe, affordable location on the Yellow Sea. As the eyes of the world focus on Beijing during the 2008 Olympics, join World Endeavors in China and gain a deeper perspective on this ancient and evolving language.

Students will have the unique chance to work in small study-groups and will receive individualized attention from their teachers. Courses are organized in the mornings from Monday through Friday, with afternoon sessions on Monday and Wednesday. Spoken and written Chinese will be studied, as well as oral comprehension. Optional cultural courses and activites, such as calligraphy, painting, hiking, or other events will be held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Please download the PDF on the right sidebar of this page for a sample course schedule. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive 6 credits. Transcripts are issued by a fully-accredited US university in order to minimize credit transfer issues. It is the student's responsibility to contact their academic advisor prior to the program to determine how the courses taken while abroad will transfer to their home institution.
