High School Study Abroad in Mongolia

We welcome approaches from potential partners – schools, orphanages, hospitals and so on – from across the developing world; wherever they are or whatever they do, we will try to meet their needs. And we welcome ideas from potential volunteers too; if a volunteer has an idea for a new program or destination, we will do everything we can to enable them to work in their own way.

Rustic Pathways programs are more than simple touring adventures in the world’s most exotic locations. Many of our trips involve gaining real life skills that challenge students to grow and learn as they travel.

In the Mongolian Experiment in International Living, the majority of program activities take place in the capital of Ulaanbaatar. Travelers get to see the rolling dunes of the Gobi Desert and the wind-swept Mongolian grasslands, as they converse with the locals and partake in community development projects.
