High School Study Abroad in Laos

Rustic Pathways programs are more than simple touring adventures in the world’s most exotic locations. Many of our trips involve gaining real life skills that challenge students to grow and learn as they travel.

Discover the rich ecological diversity of Laos through this Where There Be Dragons summer high school program. The program, lasting five to eight weeks, begins along the border of Thailand and Laos and ends in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang. Students gain a deeper understanding of Buddhism, Southeast Asian politics, history, and Laos' development issues.
