High School Study Abroad in Cambodia

We welcome approaches from potential partners – schools, orphanages, hospitals and so on – from across the developing world; wherever they are or whatever they do, we will try to meet their needs. And we welcome ideas from potential volunteers too; if a volunteer has an idea for a new program or destination, we will do everything we can to enable them to work in their own way.

Rustic Pathways programs are more than simple touring adventures in the world’s most exotic locations. Many of our trips involve gaining real life skills that challenge students to grow and learn as they travel.

High School students can spend the summer studying abroad in Cambodia. Offered through Where There Be Dragons, this gap year program, gives students the opportunity to travel to Phnom Penh the capital of Cambodia. Students spend their time studying Khmer history, culture, and language, while sleeping in local thatched-roof huts.
