For iPhone you missed Simply Declare. Cool app to track what you buy on your trip, tracks what you have spent before you have to pay duty, yuck. Does currency conversion before you spend your money in a foreign country. And the rest part is the list which when asked by customs you give them a definite answer with no stress.
Kayak and Hotel Tonight are great apps for Android users. Happy Hours and Field Trip both look really interesting. Will definitely give them a try the next time I travel. Hopefully they can help find a few more interesting spots to visit (and great restaurants of course) as I travel across some parts of Italy.
I’m surprised you didn’t include FlightView. I travel a lot for work and always rely on their app. FlightView gives me quick, always accurate statuses of my flights. I’ve used FlightTrack in the past but opted out for FlightView because the information is always more reliable, and updated in real-time.
Thanks for the app ideas, Kayla. I do a lot of traveling around the country for my job at DISH, and I am always looking for apps to make traveling easier. I will probably check out FlightTrack and Kayak on my next trip out of town. There’s a great iOS/Android app that I love to use when I travel called DISH Anywhere. It streams live and recorded TV, so I always have a good way to wait out those layovers or flight delays that I always manage to get stuck in.
