We love the quote that introduces this week's Blog of the Week, the DUSA Blog - the official blog for The University of Denver Office of International Education --“The best way to understand another culture is to experience it, to connect with it for a prolonged period. This also encourages a deeper understanding of our own cultures as we interact with and learn from others." We couldn't agree more with this philosophy! If you're a student interested in study abroad, the DUSA Blog offers great stories, amazing pictures, go-to advice, and the opportunity to meet new friends who are living and traveling all around the world. The University of Denver also encourages past and present study abroad students interested in sharing their experiences with the DU community to contribute to the blog, making it a resource fit for any type of international traveler.
With nearly 300 posts on studying abroad, the DUSA blog is a great resource of information AND student perspectives on what studying abroad is all about. They not only post links to current DU students' blogs every quarter, but also have original content; created by current DU students, alumni, and staff. With advice on everything from how to order coffee abroad, how to find good flight deals, and what it's REALLY like dealing with culture shock. Last fall the DUSA Blog featured several video bloggers while they were abroad, and this year there are currently five DUSA bloggers on location at study abroad programs all over the world.
Be sure to check out the DUSA Blog for more updates and explore thousands of study abroad opportunities on GoAbroad.com!
Every week GoAbroad features an abroad-related blog as our selection for Blog of the Week. The featured blog has been chosen because it features interesting and well-written abroad or travel-related experiences.
