AUIP Study Abroad Blog
The AUIP Study Abroad blog is written by the American Universities International Programs (AUIP) organization for a broad audience of students, parents, alumni, faculty and staff, in-country providers and people generally interested in international education and travel. For over 30 years, AUIP has been providing programs that combine rigorous academic study with opportunities for experiential learning outside of the classroom--and the AUIP Study Abroad Blog captures the true essence of this mission. With the goal of creating global citizens who actively promote intercultural understanding and cooperation, the AUIP organization and accompanying blog are helping students to forge international partnerships once they return home.
Why We Love It
Among it's great resources, the AUIP Study Abroad Blog is also consistently updated at least four times per week--combined with the organization's Twitter and Facebook feeds, this blog reaches a wide and engaging audience, who are interested to learn more about what study abroad has to offer. Topics on this blog range from 'Field Notes' (program highlights, anecdotes or memories) to student perspective posts, suggestions for studying abroad on a budget, sustainability tips, and alumni interviews and resources, just to name a handful. All together, the AUIP Study Abroad Blog is successful in creating a thirst for travel and international experiences, particularly for those who may consider study abroad beyond their reach.
