Credit and Credit Transfer
Academic credit and transcripts will be issued by Pablo de Olavide University after the successful completion of course requirements for the semester or academic year program. It is the student's responsibility to contact their academic advisor prior to the semester to determine how the courses taken while abroad will transfer to their home institution.

The program for foreigners is designed to meet the needs of both Spanish majors and those pursuing studies in other fields but with a strong interest in Spain and Latin America. It also caters to the needs of those with little or no background in Spanish by offering classes taught in English both on Spanish culture as well as in the sciences. A placement exam will determine the language level of each student.

Courses: Students may choose from a wide range of courses for up to 15 credit hours per semester.

Course offerings are subject to sufficient enrollment. Students are expected to enroll in 12-15 credit hours per semester and may choose to study for one semester or for the full year. Students with excellent Spanish language skills may enroll in a maximum of two regular university courses per semester. Special arrangements may also be made for groups of 10 or more students with a specific course need.
